Hello amazing backers!

We're working diligently behind the scenes to get issue 2 finished! Francesca is really cooking on the art now and I'm hoping to have the book off to the printer later this month, with the digital edition in your inboxes even earlier.

Francesca has been working really hard and putting so much detail into the crazy pages I write for her, so we really appreciate your patience and hope the product shows how much care is going into it!

It never ceases to amaze me how much she puts into just a single panel (one of nine on this page mind you):

Issue 3 Script is complete!

What that means is that while I'm fulfilling the rewards from issue 2's campaign, Francesca can jump right into to #3 and we can launch with the book either finished or nearly finished. Ergo, NO WAITING for fulfillment. I've already got some great covers and fun stuff planned for issue 3, including an exclusive connecting cover set for 1-3 from Eranaga Devasurendra. Not ready to share that with you quite yet, but here's a taste of Eranga's style on the cover for my new book Canceled, coming out next month:

Stake #1 Metal is live on Scoutcomics.com!

If you're a fan of Fredy Bardales art, which you know I am from all the covers I've had him do, you'll want to check out the limited metal edition of his Stake #1 Scout cover.

Happy holidays!

Somehow it's already that time of year again! Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!

First, let's get the Stake Presents: Jessamy #2 update out of the way.

We are behind on production. Francesca is working on pages, but is making sure everything looks amazing and they're just not ready yet.

The digital edition is obviously not going to be on time. We still hope to begin fulfillment on the print copies in December, but I will keep you all updated as I have a more definitive timeline - THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE!

Francesca is in Florida!

Part of the reason things have been a little slower on the art than anticipated is Francesca has made the long journey from Italy to the Us and will be with us for a few months. She's still working on pages diligently, but it has taken away some of her time to draw.

That being said, Francesca may be able to sign your Kickstarter books!* I didn't offer this on the surveys because we weren't sure she would make it, so if you want Francesca to sign your books just message me here, email  may, or hit me up through whichever method we communicate! 

*if for some reason we do not have the books by 1/14/2022, Francesca will not be able to sign.

We're doing a small signing tour of a number of shops in Florida and hope you'll stop in if you're in the area - next up is Scout Headquarters in Ft Myers, FL.

Hello amazing backers!

It's been a little while since we checked in, Octobers are usually really crazy for me and this one has been no different.

Francesca is working on the art for the issue and we are still on pace to start fulfilling in December for physical backers. We're running a little behind and won't be able to hit October for the digital copy, but November is looking good.

NYCC

I got to go to my first New York Comic Con this year and it was really cool, even if it was about 60% of normal attendance.

We did a really cool exclusive through Scout featuring the Kael Ngu/Alan Quah covers as a wraparound:

Oh yeah, it has awesome spot foil and UV treatment - it's a thing of beauty and available here for $25!

Big News featuring Francesca Fantini

Our amazing Stake artist announced some pretty big news this week...

That's right! She's coming to America in November. We will be doing a signing tour of a handful of shops, so be on the lookout for that schedule!
