Shipping Update, Heroes Con, and Ringo Awards

Happy Friday!

I wanted to drop in and give a quick update on shipping.

I have already packed and shipped all rewards that did not require signatures or CGC (except for Archivals which we're still waiting on paper for).

I had signing sessions with both Francesca and Joel this week and shipping is commencing on signed books!

I can't wait until these are all out to you!

Heroes Convention

Next weekend (June 24-26) both Francesca and myself will be at Heroes in Charlotte!

I will be at the Black Caravan booth with Rich Woodall, Peter Goral, and Steve Zapp - booths 2058 and 2060 and Francesca will be with her hubby Jonathan Hedrick in Artist Alley:

Ringo Awards Nominations

Every year Baltimore Comic Con does awards named after the late Mike Wieringo. One of the aspects of these awards is that, unlike most, the nominees are partially selected by the fans!

I'm not one to ask for people to vote for me for things, but I would really love it if you guys could at the very least show some love to Francesca and Joel for all their hard work on the Stake series that you've been awesome enough to back! And if you wanted to lump me in as well that would be ok ;)

The books have arrived!

At long last we have books in hand!

It's long overdue and we appreciate your patience, but I'm happy to say this was delivered to my office today!

The book looks great!

I can't wait to get these out to you.

Stretch Goal Goodies

I spent the majority of the afternoon putting together a bunch of stretch goals packs that go to all physical backers, feature some pretty cool swag:

What's next?

Tomorrow I'll go through all the books and make sure nothing is missing, then I'll start fulfilling!

A few notes:

• Archival #2s - these have not been printed yet because of paper concerns - I will not hold up anyone's order who ordered this, including if you order the archival for #1, your rewards will be shipped out and the Archival for #2 will come later.
• Signed books - in the next few weeks I will be scheduling a signing day with Joel and Francesca, so please be patient with us on getting those out!
• Graded books - I will get these ready and over to CGC within the next few weeks. Luckily their times are getting shorter, so the wait shouldn't be nearly as long.

With over 360 physical orders to process it's going to take a little while to get these all out, but be ready, because they're coming!

Thank you all again for being so understanding - as soon as the majority of these have been fulfilled we will jump right into the campaign for #3!

Print update and Megacon!

Physical Copies coming soon!

Good evening all! I've been checking almost daily on the status of the books and I was told this morning that we should be getting them in hand next week.

The metals and Archival editions are printed separately. The metals should be here later this week or sometime next week as well. Unfortunately, due to paper issues, the Archival edition is going to be a little longer, but I won't let that stop fulfillment of everything else.

This is great news, I'll get to fulfilling immediately, for signed books I'll need to drag Francesca and Joel up to my office and have a little party to sign.

I've built the campaign for issue 3 and Francesca is already drawing the pages, so we're on pace for a June launch of the next issue with a much quicker fulfillment!

Megacon is this week!

If you're coming to Megacon, make sure you drop by and see Francesca and me. We're at booth 4097, right between the food court and the celebrity signing area.

We'll be joined by Joseph Schmalke (Cherry Blackbird, Electric Black, Phantom Starkiller, and We Don't Kill Spiders) and Travis Gibb (Brokedown and Four Dead Bodies, Voodoo Nations, Cthulhu Invades lots of things, and many more). Joe will only be here Thursday and Friday, but the rest of us will be around all 4 days.

The issue is done!

So happy to announce that Stake Presents: Jessamy #2 is COMPLETE!

I just sent everyone their digital rewards through Backerkit, so you should have them there. IF you have any issues, please message me and I'll help sort them out right away!

Thank you all so much for your patience. I know it can be frustrating waiting so long, but you have all been very gracious with us and we can't be more appreciative. 

Going to print

I have prepped all the files except the Archival edition, which will be finished tonight. All the books will be headed to print this week. Hopefully we will see them in 3 to 4 weeks, but with paper issues still going on, that's not a guarantee at this point. As soon as they start coming in, I will start packing and shipping!

Stake Presents: Jessamy #3

The issue is written. The layouts are in progress. I have 5 covers in hand and ready to go already.

This is the conclusion to this particular story and I think it's a lot of fun.

We will not be launching until the majority of issue 2 is fulfilled and Francesca is at least 75% finished with the art.

That being said, Francesca nailed the main cover, hope you like bats...

Keep your eyes peeled for this campaign next month (hopefully)!

Missing surveys and failed credit cards

There are still a few surveys and a few people who did add-ons that had errored credit cards (if you added-on through BackerKit, you were not charged until a few days ago), please take care of those when you are able so we can make sure to get your rewards to you!
